We are pleased to be able to announce that the DBC is open for teachings and our usual Buddhist gatherings. We ask that anybody visiting the Centre uses the covid tracer app or signs in on the sheet in the hallway and continues to be vigilant with hand hygiene. If you feel unwell at all, please avoid coming to the Centre.
The Centre is currently midway through an exciting study course on Thursdays for which preregistration was required. Registrations have now closed for this course.
Geshe Dhonye is currently teaching from Kamalashila's "Stages of Meditation" on Sundays at 10.30am - please note the change to an earlier time for 2021.
Thank you to all those who registered and attended our first introductory course this year. It was great to meet you and we hope you enjoyed and benefited from the opportunity - we certainly loved the discussions! The second 2021 Introduction to Buddhism course will commence 30th August 2021 - registration link is here:
Love is the seed of this abundant harvest of buddhahood.
It is like the water which causes growth and expansion,
And it ripens into the state of lasting enjoyment,
Therefore at the outset I shall praise compassion!

Teachings and Courses
We have some wonderful opportunities to learn about the Dharma in 2021. Please subscribe to our newsletter to enable you to keep up to date with teachings and courses!
We run two courses of beginner's classes each year, each of 12 weeks duration, called "Introduction to Buddhism" on mainly Monday nights (subject to change due to other events at the centre such as Tsog). These courses require registration due to limited numbers per course and are advertised here and also on our Facebook page with registration through Eventbrite.
