The gompa (meditation hall) at the Dhargyey Buddhit Centre

Moving to Traffic Light system; The Dhargyey Buddhist Centre is currently closed, our programmes will be offered on Zoom until it is safe to reopen the Cetre for events.


Should you need to visit the Centre for any reason please request a visit through the link on our contact page.

This will be forwarded to the board and someone will be in touch with you to arrange the visit. Please be aware that you will be expected to show your Valid Covid Vaccination Pass on arrival for scanning and verification, sign in with the Covid QR code app (or complete your details on a form), wear a mask, use hand sanitiser and follow any rules that are set out under the respective 'Traffic Light" stage in force at the time of your visit.

Introduction to Buddhism Course 2022

Commencing March 21st at 7:30pm.

Run over 12 weeks, this course is an excellent introduction and overview of the Buddhist path.

Love is the seed of this abundant harvest of buddhahood.

ས་བོན་དང་ནི་སྤེལ་ལ་ཆུར་འདྲ་ཡུན་རིང་དུ། །

It is like the water which causes growth and expansion,

ལོངས་སྤྱོད་གནས་ལ་སྨིན་པ་ལྟ་བུར་འདོད་གྱུར་པ། །

And it ripens into the state of lasting enjoyment,

དེ་ཕྱིར་བདག་གིས་ཐོག་མར་སྙིང་རྗེ་བསྟོད་པར་བགྱི། །

Therefore at the outset I shall praise compassion!

Teachings and Courses

We have some wonderful opportunities to learn about the Dharma in 2022. Please subscribe to our newsletter to enable you to keep up to date with teachings and courses!

We run two courses of beginner's classes each year, each of 12 weeks duration, called "Introduction to Buddhism" on mainly Monday nights (subject to change due to other events at the centre such as Tsok). These courses require registration due to limited numbers per course and are advertised here and also on our Facebook page with registration through Eventbrite.
