TEACHING PROGRAMME

SUNDAYS  11am-12:30pm

Sunday classes taught by Geshe-la provide a general overview of the Buddhist world view, alongside meditation instruction and Q&A sessions. 

 

THURSDAYS 7:30-9:00pm

Geshe-la is teaching the 37 practices of the Bodhisattva. Teachings include an explanation of the short text, meditation instruction and Q&A sessions. 

                                                         INTRODUCTION TO BUDDHISM COURSE

We run two courses of beginner's classes each year, each of 12 weeks duration, called "Introduction to Buddhism" on mainly Monday nights (subject to change due to other events at the centre such as Tsog). These courses require registration due to limited numbers per course and are advertised on our Facebook page with registration through Eventbrite. Buddhist practice focuses on the perfection of generosity – one of six primary virtues – so we have structured the Centre to promote this virtue. There is no charge for the teachings and they are open to the public.
